Our Queen ruled for longer than any other Monarch in British history, becoming a much loved and respected figure across the globe.
Aged just 25, her life changed overnight and over her 70 year reign, she was to become known for her sense of duty and her devotion to a life of service and was an important figurehead for the UK and the Commonwealth during times of both crisis and celebration.
We all have fond memories of our late Queen, from her numerous Royal visits to local towns and cities throughout the UK, visiting Mansfield in 1977 and Worksop in 1981 from which I personally remember as I met the queen on that visit and handed her a yellow rose with my older sister.
There have also been many street parties celebrating all the milestone jubilees since 1977 through to 2022.
Due to the passing and in honour of her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our offices will be closed Monday 19th September 2022 for her state funeral.
