When asking for quotes for skip hire, please remember different companies may call the same size skip a different name. For example, AB Waste Disposal’s Midi skip is 4 cu yd another companies Midi skip may only be 2 cu yd. So please when comparing quotations ask the cubic yard capacity of the skip.

The hire period of the skip you order will be agreed with the phone operative when booking the skip. The maximum hire period will be set by the company, although if you only require the skip for 1 day this can be arranged. We can also offer a weight and load service. This involves the driver waiting with the skip for 20 minutes for you to fill the skip, After the skip is then taken away. This service is ideal for those not wanting a skip on there drive for days and already have their rubbish waiting to go.

To give you an idea on the size. The Midi skip is ideally suited to small kitchen and bathroom projects. They will hold approx3-4 tonne of soil. Which is equivalent to 40 bin bags or 13 wheelie bins.
