What size skip will I need?
For all the skip sizes please see here. If you are still unsure, we are more than happy for you to visit AB Waste Disposal to choose the skip size you require. Please call 01623627447 to arrange.
Can a skip be lifted over a fence, bush, or wall?
Yes, we can lift the skip over a wall fence or bush if no higher than 3ft.
Do we delivery on Sundays and Bank holidays?
Unfortunately, not. We need a rest too!
What is not allowed in a skip?
Please see restriction list. If you have any of the restricted items to dispose off, please call the office on 01623 627447 and we will be able to assist you further.
What are the permit restrictions?
Skips must be at least 20 meters from a junction, cannot be sited in any restricted parking area, on double yellows lines, near roundabouts, traffic lights, zebra crossings or obstructing any footway.
If a permit is needed how long do the permits last for?
The permit is issued by the highway’s authority. The length the permit is issued for will differ between different authorities mainly being between 7 and 14 days.
How long will it take to obtain a permit?
Permits can take between 2-7 working days depending on your highway’s authority.
